Lucky Draw Rules

How it works:

  • When you create and fund a Flash Locker during the raffle period you automatically enter the lucky draw.
  • After the raffle period ends, LockerX will draw the winner as follows:
    • We collect the Flash Lockers created in the relevant period, one group for BTC and one for ETH. Flash Lockers are ordered by their ledger number, if two lockers have the same ledger number then they are sorted by transaction number.
    • For the BTC draw, we take the final 6 hexadecimal characters from the block hash of the last BTC block and the final 6 hexadecimal characters from the ledger hash of the last Stellar ledger at 23:59 (UTC) on 2020/12/24.
    • For the ETH draw, we take the final 6 hexadecimal characters from the block hash of the last ETH block and the final 6 hexadecimal characters from the ledger hash of the last Stellar ledger at 23:59 (UTC) on 2020/12/24.
    • We convert the hexadecimal characters to the respective decimal number.
    • We will use these numbers to pick the winning locker by summing the BTC/ETH numbers with the Stellar number, computing the remainder with the number of Flash Lockers in the draw, and use the remainder to choose the winning Flash Locker.
  • LockerX will send the prize to the BTC and ETC accounts that funded the winner Flash Lockers.
  • For example:
    • Assume there are 75 BTC Flash Lockers and 86 ETH Flash Lockers participating in the draw.
    • The last block on BTC has the following hash: 000000000000000000007187f444718a49466b00e4a98f7451a692f9b69ac5ae. The final 6 characters are 9ac5ae = 10143150.
    • The last block on ETH has the following hash: 0x5b5e1ae0a1846490722746bd317fbd97d5f4da6361a0bad43350fd15d3cfe2b3. The final 6 characters are cfe2b3 = 13623987.
    • The last block on Stellar has the following hash: 52cb02503ae4ce616a226b63390bf589363565a17b9df9ba49a74d666f7f6ade. The final 6 characters are 7f6ade = 8350430.
    • The winning number for the BTC prize is (10143150 + 8350430) mod 75 = 5.
    • The winning number for the ETH prize is (13623987 + 8350430) mod 86 = 41.

  • Although we use the term "raffle" on our website, this is for marketing purpose only. Entry to the free draw is free and is included with every Flash Locker created in the relevant period.

Risk Warning

We will send the reward to the BTC or ETH accounts that funded the lucky Flash Lockers. To ensure that you can receive the reward, only use a BTC or ETH account that you control. Funding a Flash Locker from an exchange may result in you not receiving your prize.
